Review Accuracy of NIH Grants By October 3

As the NIH fiscal year comes to an end on September 30, 2022, they have released Notice NOT-OD-22-194 to encourage Signing Officials to verify the accuracy of their grant assignments to departments or components within institutions of higher education using the Grant Re-assign function in eRA Commons. Any corrections to the data must be made by 8:00 PM EDT on Monday, October 3, 2022 to be reflected in NIH annual reports.

Preliminary Data on Childcare Cost Support for NRSA Individual Fellows

In April 2021, recognizing the high cost of childcare, NIH began allowing recipients of full-time National Research Service Awards (NRSA) fellowships to request support for childcare costs. Fellows could make these requests in new and continuation applications or as administrative supplements to existing awards.
