The Harvard Chan School SPA created an Other Support presentation to remind research administrators of Other Support best practices.

Notice NOT-OD-23-133 updates the NIH Grants Policy Statement (NIHGPS), Section 15.2, which outlines the requirements for consortium/subaward agreements on NIH-funded grants. These updates will be incorporated into the GPS in the FY24 publication. This updated guidance is effective October 1, 2023. A Federal Register Notice announcing the updates will be posted in the coming weeks.

NIH has provided sample DMS Plans as examples of how a DMS Plan could be completed in different contexts, conforming to the elements described above. These sample DMS Plans are provided for educational purposes to assist applicants with developing Plans but are not intended to be used as templates and their use does not guarantee approval by NIH. The Harvard Chan School's At-Risk Accounts Process was revised on May 17, 2023. This revision corrects the cost transfer information previously provided (1/6/22) and confirms that debits to at-risk accounts are subject to the cost transfer policy.
