NSF.gov Changes 

April 24, 2023

The National Science Foundation (NSF) recently rolled out significant updates to their website, intended to make it easier for you to find the information you're interested in. The recent NSF.gov changes are provided below:

  • NSF's new website, previously called beta.nsf.gov, is now new.nsf.gov
  • Updated the homepage and site navigation to better connect you to the information you care about
  • We've updated our pages for funding seekers...

FastLane Proposal Decommissioning

April 24, 2023

Effective April 24, 2023, the National Science Foundation (NSF) transitioned the Subawarding, Transferring or Contracting Out Part of an NSF Award request functionality from FastLane to Research.gov and decommissioned this request in FastLane. In-progress subawarding requests in FastLane as of April 21, 2023, were transferred to Research.gov. All notifications and requests submitted in FastLane are accessible in Research.gov. April's Post-Award Metrics (PAM) Reports

Due to the recent Oracle EBS Outage, SPA was unable to run the April's Post-Award Metrics (PAM) reports on it's regular schedule (15th of the month). Therefore, SPA will be running the PAM reports this week. New Process for Booking Guest Travel in Egencia

April 19, 2023
Effective February 13, 2023, there's a new process for booking Guest Travel in Egencia. Access to existing Guest Traveler Accounts will no longer be available after March 31, 2023. If you need to make a change to previously booked travel that extends beyond March 31, you must contact an Egencia Agent at 1-800-373-4979. FOA or NOFO – It’s All About Funding

In an effort to standardize terminology across the government, NIH is joining other federal agencies in using the term notices of funding opportunities (NOFOs) rather than funding opportunity announcements (FOAs). You will see both terms in use while they work to update their websites and resources. NIH funding opportunities can be found on Grants.gov and in the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts.
