Here are the latest Research Administration & Compliance Systems updates: 

 

ECRT

Important dates for the FY21 Q3 Project Statements:

  • All FY21 Q3 Certifications are DUE June 3, 2021
 

GMAS

The most recent GMAS release was implemented on Monday, May 10th. This release included technical upgrades to the system and enhancements/bug fixes for OAIR. The release also addressed some other bug fixes and improvements.

Highlight of the changes in this release include:

  • A new GMAS job has been created where pending proposals that have been submitted for more than 18 months will be closed.
  • Added a new row to OAIR approvals that displays who the responsible party is on the OAIR side.
  • The “Update OAIR” button ignores non-HUID and inactive HUID approvals.
  • Creating continuation requests no longer generate two “Created Request” events.

OAIR

OAIR was recently updated! The recent update includes a new notification when a reviewer is assigned, the addition of a link to the associated GMAS project on the research certification workspace, and improvements to the SmartForm question prompts. ESTR-IRB

ESTR was recently updated! The recent update includes a new SmartForm question about data management for external IRB studies, notification clarifications, and new reports - Study Team Members by IRB Office and Expedited Actions by Committee. Agreements-DUA

Agreements was recently updated! The recent update includes more efficient options for tracking agreement elements, improved expiration reminders, and clarified guidance of related IRB and Data Safety requirements in the SmartForm. Data Safety

Data Safety was recently updated! The recent update includes a new notification to resource/storage location contacts at the point of submission and additional instruction in clarification request and continuing review notices. PI Dashboard

Team completed several database and application server software upgrades.
