Dear Pre-Award Colleagues:   

We were notified yesterday by our cognizant federal agency that Harvard’s fringe benefit rates will not be approved until the week of June 4-11 – too late for the early June NIH deadline.      

Outgoing proposals must continue to use FY2021 fringe benefits rates until the FY2022 rates are approved.    

After approval, new rate agreement documents for each rate area will be issued in late June or early July and posted on the OSP website as soon as they are received and signed.    

Please forward within your tubs to departments or grant managers.
